When and where is Boot Camp?

August 23 – 25 at Woodlands Camp in Cleveland, Georgia.

What should my student pack?

  • Linens | sleeping bag or bed sheets for twin bed, pillow, bath towel, beach towel
  • Clothes | comfortable clothes/shoes for the weather AND clothes/shoes that are ok to get muddy
  • Swimsuit and towel | for ladies: one-piece bathing suit or dark colored shirt over a two-piece
  • Toiletries
  • Helpful items | sunscreen, flashlight, water bottle
  • Bible, notebook, pen
  • Snacks (optional!) | personal snacks and/or to share with cabin mates

What are the details for check-in?

Check-in begins at 6:00 pm on Friday, August 23 at your students’ campus. Buses will pull out at 6:30 pm.
***Please have your students eat dinner before arrival.***

When will you be returning?

Sunday, August 25 at 1:30pm at your students’ campus.

What if my student has a food allergy?

Please indicate this in your student’s registration and we will do our best to accommodate their specific needs.

Who can I contact in case of an emergency?

While we want to leave the communication line open, we ask that both students and parents respect the “retreat” environment. Part of the experience for students is to get away from their normal schedule and spend a weekend interacting with other students and connecting with God.

At check in, you will receive emergency contact phone numbers for staff members on site at camp.

What activities are available at Woodlands Camp?

Woodlands Camp activities include: a waterfront for swimming, water slide, blob, zip line, giant swing, and field activities.

What else do I need to know?

We wish to respect and partner with you as parents, ensuring that your student has an excellent camp experience. There are however a few things that will cause your student to be removed from camp:

  • We will not tolerate fighting.
  • We will not allow co-ed rooming.
  • Guys are NOT allowed in girls rooms at any time.
  • Girls are NOT allowed in guys rooms at any time.
  • We will not allow students to leave their cabins after hours.
  • We will not allow drugs, alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, or weapons of any kind.
  • If problems arise we will ask you to come pick up your child.
